The masseurs are all professionally trained. With years of practice, each masseur has their own very specific way of massaging. We advise you to try them all to feel the variety of touches and find the one that suits you best. The massages are done with oil with the exception of shiatsu.
CLASSIC MASSAGE OR SPORTS MASSAGE
An oil massage that is done on a massage table with a sequence of specific gestures: touch, kneading, sliding pressure, to which can be added vibrations, percussion and mobilizations.
This type of massage aims to relieve tension and balance organic functions. This is the typical massage practiced at the Bains, in as many different ways as there are masseurs. Do not hesitate to ask the masseur for a touch (pressure, speed) that suits you.
By adding friction movements, stretches with more emphasized movements on specific areas related to sport, we get what is called a « sports » massage that will act more specifically on the musculature of the athlete, either after or before physical exertion.
Reflex zone massage, mainly on the feet and sometimes the hands, having a stimulating or calming action on different organs, systems or joints.
BABY MASSAGE (SPECIFY WHEN MAKING AN APPOINTMENT)
For young parents who want to learn how to massage their child. This massage helps to relieve tension, colic, disturbed sleep or pain related to the appearance of teeth. It promotes the parent-child relationship.
LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE (DR. VODDER* METHOD)
Lymphatic drainage is a gentle massage done without oil, area by area, which acts on all branches of the lymphatic network of the body.
It drains the lymphatic and circulatory venous systems. It strengthens the immune system and acts on the nervous system with a profound effect of physical and psychological relaxation. Ideal for heavy legs.
Suitable for pregnant women from the 3rd month of pregnancy.
Japanese massage performed on the floor by pressure on the meridians, by mobilizations and stretching. Improves energy balance and can bring about a deep feeling of relaxation and well-being.
