HOW DID YOU BECOME A MASSAGE THERAPIST? WHAT IS YOUR BACKGROUND?

My mother was a healer. After 22 years in the restaurant industry, I felt the need to explore her legacy and use my hands to do good. Since then, I have transitioned into wellness care (fascial therapy, bonesetting) and pursued various training courses in sports massage and osteopathy. My curiosity led me to other practices, including Chinese medicine centered around the 5 vital organs, Chi Nei Tsang. I strive to keep my practice diverse and comprehensive, adapting to each patient.

HOW WERE YOU BROUGHT TO WORK WITHIN THE MAINS DES BAINS ASSOCIATION AND SINCE WHEN?

In summer 2021, a friend informed me that positions were opening up within the Mains des Bains association and I applied.

WHY DO YOU ENJOY WORKING WITHIN THIS ASSOCIATION?

I truly fell in love with the Mains des Bains team, as well as with the Bains des Pâquis environment in general, where it feels good to be together and take care of one another.

WHICH MASSAGE TECHNIQUES DO YOU PRACTICE AT BAINS DES PÂQUIS?

I primarily practice classic and sports massage.

WHICH TECHNIQUES DO YOU PRACTICE IN YOUR PRIVATE PRACTICE? WHERE IS IT LOCATED?

I work within the “Health / Sport” group and centre Athletica, led by Michel Golay, as a physical trainer. Alongside this, I also practice my various massage techniques.

IN YOUR OPINION, IN FOUR WORDS, WHICH QUALITIES ARE ESSENTIAL TO BE A MASSAGE THERAPIST AT BAINS DES PÂQUIS?

You need to be passionate, loving (of people, of the place…), curious, flexible and open-minded.

WHAT ARE YOUR PROJECTS?

To continue nourishing myself through my experiences, learning through encounters and deepening my knowledge of the body, the soul and the mind. One of my dreams would be to travel the world caring for children with my hands, gently awakening future generations to the art of healing. Marine, the Big-Hearted Masseuse.
